State Chaplain

“Just call on my brother, when you need a hand…we all need somebody to lean on.”  Do you have that song in your head now?  Good! Maybe you’ll remember it when you need me and call.  I’m Melissa Jungemann and I am the State Chaplain for the South Dakota Jaycees.  I am a member of the Sioux Falls Jaycees and excited to serve you however I can.  Need a prayer request?  I can do that.  Need some motivation when some things seem a little hard or stressed?  I can do that.  Need someone to smile with you at a great accomplishment?  I can do that, too.  Whatever your spiritual needs, I’m here to help you.  Don’t be surprised if you get a few email “pick me ups”…we all need those from time to time.

I am also pleased to inform you that I am this year’s Program Manager for competitions and trainings.  I’m excited to get things started and learn together with you about the great big word of possibilities that is competitions and trainings.  Over the next year, I hope to visit a lot of you and help your members become familiar with trainings and competitions and what all the Jaycees have to offer.  There are so many opportunities, so I’m eager to share them with you.
