Sioux Falls Jaycees

When people think of the city of Sioux Falls, they think active, busy, always something to do. Well, that’s exactly the Sioux Falls Jaycees.  Our chapter never rests…from beginning of the year and straight through to the end, our members never stop.  Our chapter continues to grow and reach out into the community.  We have held some of our signature projects already such as Sandbox Fill and the 4th of July Celebration, which both were great successes.  We can’t forget the fun we had at Pitch, Hit & Run, Juneteenth, Bowl For Kids’ Sake, Jazzfest, plus many more.

The chapter is constantly looking for ways to improve our community and the lives of those who live near us.  We are doing this with upcoming projects like Relay for Life, Toys for Tots, Project SOS, and Support Our Troops.  Of course, the chapter and community is looking forward to the annual Haunted House, which planning has started to ensure this year’s is just as frightening as the past.  The chapter is also honored to plan and hoste the annual TOYSD awards, scheduled for Nov. 5th in Sioux Falls.  Applications are available and due Sept. 1st.  If you are interested in helping or attending any of our projects, please contact us…the more, the merrier.

This year has been exciting and challenging for the Board and all members (old and new), but the Sioux Falls Jaycees “Rise Above” and meet those challenges.  Members are eager, willing and ready to make their community and organization the best it can be.
