Community VP - Cody Menzel

Hello fellow South Dakota Jaycees,

This is your Community Vice President Cody Menzel. We have had a great spring with all the activities your chapters have run. Please continue to support the Pierre and GDV chapters as they are still dealing with the flooding from Spring.

I hope we can have a great summer and fall with more fun activities; so far this has been a great year. Let’s get out there and try to grow the state and have fun in the process. To all the chapters have great time running projects this summer and fall.  I hope to have a great summer and fall with all the community activities coming up this summer. If you want me to come to your chapter for visit, please let me know in advance so I can get you on my schedule. I’d love to try and make it all the chapters to meet the members.

I’d like to thank Redfield and Sioux Falls for running Pitch, Hit, and Run this spring. We have Relay for Life coming up at the end of July at Howard Wood field. In August the Colman Jaycees will be running Looney Days which is their town festival with a parade, kid games, and much more. We also have to get ready for Punt, Pass, and Kick this fall. If you want to host a sectional for that get the bids in to the state I can’t wait to travel more this summer and fall to see all the chapters.
